Paytm is hiring for the role of Process Quality - Junior Manager!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:

Manage end-to-end reconciliation of all payment modes to ensure transactional accuracy and minimise risks.

Oversee daily and monthly reconciliation processes, proactively driving system-based and AI-powered improvements.

Identify and analyze fraudulent transactions, design and implement AI-driven fraud detection measures, and collaborate with external agencies for risk mitigation.

Process and reconcile chargeback requests efficiently, ensuring streamlined resolution mechanisms.
-
Generate and analyze reports to provide actionable insights and drive corrective measures for process improvements.

Write and execute SQL queries to extract and analyze data for reconciliation and reporting purposes.
Requirements:
-
Strong expertise in payment processing, reconciliation, fraud detection, and chargeback management.
-
Hands-on experience with AI-driven fraud prevention tools, financial software platforms, and adherence to regulatory frameworks (such as KYC/AML).

Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and data interpretation skills.
-
Exceptional communication skills with strong collaboration and attention to detail.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business
-
Administration, or a related field; relevant certifications such as CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) or CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) are preferred.

Mergers & Acquisitions
- Balance Tech: as a step to enhance Paytm’s user and merchant interface, Bengaluru-based Balance Technology Pvt. Ltd was acquired in August 2018.
- Nightstay: an online hotel booking platform, Nightstay was acquired by Paytm in July 2018 for an undisclosed amount as a step to enhance its travel vertical which already includes travel bookings and foreign exchange services.
- Cube 26: as a step to add more social engagement features to their products and services, Paytm acquired the Delhi-based tech startup in June 2018.
- Orbgen Technologies: Orbgen technologies, the parent company of Chennai-based online ticket booking platform, TicketNew, was acquired by Paytm in May 2018 as a step to foster its entertainment ticketing business. This acquisition bought Paytm over 600 screens across Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana,
