IIT Roorkee Department of Hydro and Renewable Energy (HRED) Post-Doctoral Fellowship 2021 is a research opportunity offered to Ph.D. degree holders.
Project Title: “Environmental Management of Water Bodies through Waste Algal Biomass-based Energy Production and Greenhouse Gas Mitigation"
Eligibility:
To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Hold a Ph.D. degree in Environmental Microbiology/Environmental Engineering/Biogas Technology/Algal Bioprocessing/Environmental Management of Waterbodies or related fields with a research background in the areas related to the project
Requirements:
- The candidate must have at least 02 SCI papers as a first (or corresponding) author based on the Ph.D. research work
- The candidate must have at least 1–2 years of experience in Biogas, Algal Blooms and Wastewater Management, Environmental Management of Water Bodies or related areas
- The candidate must have hands-on experience in handling the Microbial Cultures and Water Samples
Funding Value: The candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship of INR 55,000 per month for the first 2 years and INR 60,000 per month for the third year and a contingency of INR 50,000 per annum.
