About the Speaker:
Mr. Prabhjeet Singh is the President of Uber, where he oversees the Mobility business across India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. In this role, he is responsible for guiding the company's growth and expansion strategies in these regions, ensuring that Uber adapts and scales effectively to meet local market needs.
Known for his passion and innovative approach, Mr. Prabhjeet has been a pivotal figure in Uber's journey, helping to establish the company's presence from its early days and solidifying its leadership in the ride-sharing industry. His strategic insights and leadership have been crucial in launching new services and expanding Uber's reach, making it a household name in the region.
Mr. Prabhjeet is an accomplished alumnus of IIT Kharagpur and IIM Ahmedabad. His outstanding contributions to corporate leadership were recently recognized by his alma mater, IIM-A, which awarded him the Young Alumni Achiever’s Award. Before joining Uber in August 2015, Mr. Prabhjeet had a successful career at McKinsey & Co., where he served as an Associate Partner. His extensive experience in management consulting and corporate leadership has equipped him with the skills to navigate the complex landscape of urban mobility and innovation.
