A 25 percent leap in the highest stipend offered | IIM Amritsar Summer Placements 2019-20
Yet like another glorious academic year, IIM Amritsar concluded 100 percent Final Placement of its MBA 04 batch. Despite the economic slowdown, the placements display an upward trend once again this year, with an increase in its average CTC, a 90 percent YoY increase in the highest domestic annual package, and a 15.15 percent growth in average for top-quartile.
All the management domains like Marketing, Sales, and Finance, along with Operations and analytics saw a balanced mix of offers. For the first time, IIM Amritsar witnessed a healthy spike in Advisory & Consulting roles offered to the students from three of the Big Four accounting firms viz., Deloitte, Ernst & Young, and KPMG. Moreover, the institute witnessed marquees like Bisleri, Aditya Birla Capital, Amazon, Grant Thornton, etc., visiting the campus for the first time, with several reputed firms like ICICI Lombard, Anand Rathi, Accenture, returning for recruitment.

Statistics of IIM Amritsar Summer Placements 2019-2020
Just like the final placement of MBA 04 batch, IIM Amritsar Summer Placements 2019-20 also recorded a good growth. Despite a 50 percent increase in its fifth batch, the institute outperformed all its past benchmarks. Some big conglomerates participated in the summer placement and appreciated the talent pool of the institute, which has only helped foster the industry-academia partnership of the institute.
IIM Amritsar Summer Placements 2019-20 marked a 25 percent leap over last year as per the highest stipend offered is considered, thus making it to INR 2,50,000. The overall average and the average stipend for the top quartile stood at INR 62,572 and INR 1,35,357, respectively. Some prominent recruiters like ICICI Lombard, Cipla, Landmark, L&T, Nielsen, CRISIL, GroupM, etc., offered a multitude of roles including business development, operations and analytics, supply chain, finance, and market research.
