For any job post, a company's HR receives a dime a dozen applications out of which the copied ones make their way into the spam folder while others land in the main inbox. Only a handful of out-of-the-box CVs that promise great potential get shortlisted for the subsequent interview rounds. While you may be great at industry-oriented skills and would have come up with a very detailed and carefully drafted CV, it still might not catch the eye of the HR who's screening through an inbox full of applications. Well, you see, that's where the role of craft and a tinge of humor comes into play.
It's the candidate's responsibility to grab the interest of the interviewer through his CV. Even the minute subtleties pay off well and that's where one needs to run his brain horses to come up with something unique and intriguing!
Often social media is set buzzing by certain peculiar resumes shared by individuals searching for their fantasy occupations. Now and then, these resumes consummately feature the up-and-comer's unique ability that might help them in the domain they are applying to, and such fascinating CVs many-a-times leave the netizens having a hearty laugh.
Recently the Twitterattis couldn't stop laughing at the creativity of an applicant who mentioned 'googling' as his skills along with the other skills and qualifications on his CV while applying for a job post.
Twitter, along with other social media pages, was blazing with the tweet of Cat McGee who while rummaging through the bunch of received job applications got stupefied when she laid her hands on a CV of an aspiring candidate who mentioned his ability to perform quick searches on Google as one of his abilities. Here is the tweet:

From the time this tweet was posted, it took off to be one of the most trending posts! It has gotten over a whopping 1.8 lakh likes and a few responses since being shared on July 23. The tweet has been shared broadly and retweeted more than 15 thousand times.
Exceeding two thousand comments on the tweet, it has certainly caught netizens off guard. Twitter users have dropped different remarks under Cat McGee's tweet, with some naming the ability as fundamental and some ridiculing it. People also recommended googling to be as significant as the ability to research, and surprisingly even the top workers fail to realize that.
Another client requested that McGee test his googling abilities and run an online test for him and recommended an appropriate interviewing format to her. Another person showed how googling was technical know-how and a significant skill that most people actually lack.
How? Well, while searching for information on search engines, especially Google, one must be well-versed with the keywords and other SEO skill sets.
McGee likewise explained in one of the remarks that the creative applicant had an extraordinary CV in general, and adding 'googling' to all those achievements made him land the interview call!
