The registration process for SPJIMR 

SPJIMR will accept the scores of CAT 2020 and GMAT 2020. This year it won’t accept XAT 2021 exam score for admission into the 2021 batch. This change is applicable only for the upcoming admission cycle for the batch 2021-23 in order to keep with the timelines of shortlisting. The application process has started on 28th September 2020 and will close on 27th November 2020.

1. Visit the official website to fill the form.
2. Register yourselves by filling in your name, phone number, e-mail id, and other credentials.
3. You will be asked to verify your account via email.
4. After verification, you will be transferred straight to the student dashboard.
5. A page appears where your application number and fees will appear. Click on continue.
6. Fill in the preference of your specializations.
7. Fill in your preference for selection. SPJIMR offers two options for selection, Profile-based - If you possess an impeccable academic record and all relevant degree/diplomas and specialization, select this; or you can go for Profile-cum-score based - It will take CAT score and profile into account, and then one is short-listed accordingly.
8. Fill in your academic details of 10th, 12th, graduation, diploma,post-graduation(if any), professional course, etc.
9. Fill in the special certification, in case you have relevant certification in accordance with your specialization. For eg- Stock market certifications to supplement an MBA in Finance, Digital Marketing certification for MBA in Marketing, etc.
10. If you have prior work experience then specify your details of the organization, industry, your role clearly. Try to mention your learnings and growth during your job in brief.
11. Mention your achievements during the academic duration of your life and try to quantify the number of participants in which you secured a position, to improve your chances of selection.
12. Fill in the versatility column of your form.
13. Give a holistic overview of your life and career in the responsibility column of the SPJIMR form 2020.
14. Fill in the remaining details along with your CAT and GMAT details.
15. Finally, make the payment.

The next section covers personal details. It is advised to fill the personal and situation-based questions honestly and tactfully. One must know what one has written to support their point while they are cross-questioned in the interview. 

Early interviews for profile-based shortlisted candidates

Applicants shortlisted based on their profile will be called for an early interview. The shortlist will be on the basis of academic record, work experience for the chosen specialization, versatility, and achievements. Early interviews are considered convenient as it avoids overlapping with other interview calls during the admissions season. On account of the COVID-19 pandemic, to ensure the safety of participants and norms of social distancing, interviews for PGDM 2021 -2023 may be conducted on online platforms.
