Admission procedure at XLRI for its PGP batches of HRM, BM, and PGDM
The admission procedure at XLRI for PGP batches of Human Resources Management(HRM), Business Management(BM), and General Management(PGDM) Programme. The intake for HRM and BM batches is 360, while the intake for GMP is 120.
PGDM (Human Resources Management Programme) +
PGDM (Business Management Programme)
Eligibility
Bachelor's Degree of minimum 3 years from a recognised Institute. Students completing their final examinations by June 10, 2020 can also apply.
Fees
INR 11.80LPA (This amount is exclusive of hotel and mess charges)
Selection Criteria
Stage 1: Registration fee
- Indian candidates registering through XAT - INR 1700 along with INR 300 each for every additional programme of XLRI.
- Foreign and NRI candidates registering through XAT - $50 along with $25 each for every additional programme of XLRI.
- Foreign and NRI candidates though GMAT - INR 5000
Candidates applying through GMAT must take the examination between December 31, 2017 - December 31, 2019.
Stage 2: Shortlisting of candidates
The candidates will be shortlisted by January 31, 2020 tentatively.
Stage 3: Interview process
Interviews of the shortlisted candidates will be conducted between mid-February and March 2020 in Jamshedpur, Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore.
PGDM (General Management Programme)
Eligibility
Bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years from either India or abroad. Full time employment with at least 5 years of managerial experience as of Match 31, 2020 post completing the graduation.
Fee - INR 20.95 lakh
Miscellaneous expenses such as food, electricity and other such expenses will be charged extra based on the type of accommodation the student prefers.
Selection Criteria
Candidates have the option of applying to more than 1 programme. Applying for multiple programs may result in multiple interviews and discussions.
Stage 1: Registration fee
- Indian candidates registering through XAT - INR 1700 along with INR 300 each for every additional programme of XLRI.
- Foreign and NRI candidates registering through XAT - $50 along with $25 each for every additional programme of XLRI.
- Indian candidates applying only for GMP through GMAT - INR 2500
- Foreign and NRI candidates can apply one or more programmes through GMAT - INR 5000
Candidates applying through GMAT must take the examination between December 31, 2017 - December 31, 2019.

The candidates will be shortlisted by January 31, 2020 tentatively.
Stage 3: Interview process
Interviews of the shortlisted candidates will be conducted between mid-February and March 2020 in Jamshedpur, Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore.
Candidates selected for GMP interviews through the admission procedure at XLRI will be interviewed through G-talk or Skype for overseas candidates. Candidates need to send a mail to XLRI to schedule their interview post the result.
