Axis Moves 2.0 | Your Idea can make your dream come true
However, its a plan, an idea that can change the scenario and Axis Moves 2.0 was one such initiative by Axis Bank to bring out ideas in revamping the professional front.
Axis Bank is the third largest of the private-sector banks in India offering a comprehensive suite of financial products. The bank has its head office in Mumbai and registered office in Ahmedabad. It had a market capitalization of ₹1.28 trillion (US$19 billion) (as of March 31, 2017). It sells financial services to large and mid-size corporates, SME, and retail businesses.
Axis Moves 2.0 was open to all Indian citizens in the age group of 18 to 30 years. Participants could participate in teams of 2. The theme focused on “Future of Jobs in India”. View the complete details of the competition here.
The competition was held in two different stages where teams picked a domain of their choice and submitted their idea in a maximum of 750 words by Feb 12, 2017. The idea can be related to any sector; it can be the solution to any problem; it can also be an opportunity identified by you.
Post submission of the idea the teams were asked to take a basic quiz in order to analyse their knowledge of their chosen domain.
The entries were judged on the following criteria-
- The idea should be feasible, implementable and scalable in the current scenario.
- The idea should economical and achievable in the realms of reality.
The shortlisted 180 contesting teams were invited to present their business plans and were judged by an eminent panel. The successful 50 teams became a part of a boot camp in Mumbai where they were evaluated on a predefined set of parameters.
After pruning only top 15 teams made it to the Grand finale and showcased their final presentation to the jury.
The winning teams were awarded prize INR 25,00,000, INR 15,00,000, and INR 10,00,000 respectively. View the list of winners here.
The competition had various incentives and goodies along the course of the competition where selected teams also got an opportunity to interact and were mentored by senior leadership.
It was not just a competition but an experience in itself and every experience had a scope of learning attached to it.
