Bharat Dynamics Limited invites B.Tech and MBA students to apply for 40 Management Trainee posts

Bharat Dynamics Limited, a Category-I Miniratna Public Sector Unit (PSU) under the Ministry of Defence, has released 40 vacancies for the position of Managing Trainees (MT). Out of the total vacancies, 33 are for B.Tech students and 07 are for MBA holders.  

Online registrations for the post have already begun from 4th July and will continue accepting applications till 19th July 2021 (11:00 PM). The last date to upload the receipt along with all the obligatory documents is 27th July 2021.

Management Trainee - Age Limit and Pay Scale

The age of the applicant will be calculated as of 18th May 2021. For engineering graduates, the upper age limit in the following categories are:

  • General category: 27 years
  • Other Backward Classes: 30 years 
  • Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes: 32 years

On the selection of Management Trainee in Grade II in Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical/Civil/Computer Science posts, the approximate C.T.C per annum at the minimum of basic pay is INR 10.52 Lakhs.

Essential Educational Qualification

As per the original notification of Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), the following is the minimum required academic qualification for Grade II Management Training Post in the below-mentioned domains:

Electronics/ Electronics and Communication/Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering and related streams

Class-I Bachelor’s Degree (or 5- Year Integrated course) in Engineering or Technology in the branch of Electronics or equivalent course from a recognized University or Institute.

Mechanical/Manufacturing/Production/Industrial/Aerospace Engineering and related streams

Class -I Bachelor’s Degree (or 5- Year Integrated course) in Engineering or Technology in the branch of Mechanical or equivalent course from a recognized University or Institute.



Electrical/Electrical and Electronics/Electrical, Instrumentation and Control Engineering and related streams

Class -I Bachelor’s Degree (or 5- Year Integrated course) in Engineering or Technology in the branch of Electrical or equivalent course from a recognized University or Institute.

Civil Engineering

Class -I Bachelor’s Degree (or 5- Year Integrated course) in Engineering or Technology in the branch of Civil or equivalent course from a recognized University or Institute.



Computer Science/Software Engineering

Class -I Bachelor’s Degree (or 5- Year Integrated course) in Engineering or Technology in the branch of Computer Science or equivalent course from a recognized University or Institute.



Optics

Class-I M.Sc. Degree in Physics / Applied Physics with specialization in Optics / Applied Optics / Fiber Optics / Laser / Opto-Electronics or M.Sc. (Tech) – Engineering Physics with specialization in Photonics or equivalent course from a recognized University or Institute.

Business Development

  • Class-I B. Tech Degree or a 5- Year Integrated Course in Engineering or Technology (Mechanical/ Electrical / Electronics & Communications/ Computer Science/Electronics & Instrumentation/ Production)
  • Along with a Class-I position in a 2-years MBA or equivalent/ Post Graduate Diploma/ Post Graduate Degree with specialization in Marketing / Sales & Marketing awarded by Universities or Government recognized Institutions.
  • A diploma in International Marketing/ Foreign Trade is an added advantage.

Finance

  • Mandatory to clear the Final examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI)

Or,

  • Mandatory to clear the final examination conducted by the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICAI erstwhile ICWAI)

Or,

  • A Class-I MBA holder or equivalent /Post Graduate Diploma / Post Graduate Degree in Finance discipline of 2 Years duration from University or any Government recognized Institution.

Human Resource (HR)

Class-I  MBA holder or equivalent/ Post Graduate Diploma in HR/ PM & IR/ Personnel Management/ Social Science/ Social Welfare/ Social Work of 2 years duration from University or Institution acknowledged by the Government.

NOTE: Class-I implies 60% aggregate marks for General/OBC(Non-Creamy Layer)/EWS Candidates and 55% aggregate for SC/ST applicants with regards to the reserved vacancy in that category only.

Bharat Dynamics Ltd. Selection Process

The selection procedure will be carried out in two phases:

  • Written examination in an online computer-based format (2-hour duration): Two papers consisting of a total of 150 questions (100 questions based on the concerned subject and 50 questions based on general aptitude) will be conducted.
  • Interview Round: The final candidature ratio will be decided by the Selection Committee.

Only the applicants satisfying the recommended qualification models will be called for the Computer Based Online Test (CBT). 

The weightage relegated to CBT and Interview Marks in the selection procedure is 85% and 15% separately.
