BSNL To Offer 44 Internships With INR 8000 Stipend; Know How To Register For Free!

The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, BSNL has proposed to offer 44 internships to the Haryana telecom circle. As a part of the Apprentices Act 1961, the internships will last for a period of one year. A stipend of INR 8000 will be paid to the applicants meeting the eligibility criteria. Note that there is no examination for this program, all you have to do is register on the website, free of charge.

The internship bulletin calls on all passed-out graduates in both technical as well as non-technical fields. Diploma holders for any streams of study, but recognized by AICTE or GOI and UGC, can register for the program as well. The proposed positions will be in sales and marketing, CM/EB/CFA departments within the PSU.

Are You Eligible for BSNL Internship?

Here are the eligibility criteria for the internship:

1. Must be an Indian national.
2. The maximum age limit for the applicants is set at 25 years.
3. Upper age-limit relaxations are as follows:

• Up to 05 years for SC candidates
• Up to 03 years for OBC candidates
• Up to 15 years for SC-PWD candidates
• Up to 13 years for OBC-PWD candidates
• Up to 10 years for OC-PWD candidates.
• Note that for PWD, candidates with hearing impairment (2%) or locomotor impairment (2%) are eligible to enroll. They should suffer from not less than 40% of the relevant disability.

4. Should not have already undergone or be a part of an undergoing internship. Also, applicants should not have one year or more of work experience.  

How To Apply to BSNL Internship?

The application process for this internship is pretty straightforward. Have a look at the following steps:

1. Log onto the govt’s BOAT (Board of Apprenticeship Training) portal.
2. Register for the apprenticeship as per the BSNL business areas.
3. The applicants will have to submit the following documents for enrolment:

• Aadhar card (pdf format, less than 1MB)
• diploma/ graduation certificate, indicating pass status and percentage marks (pdf format, less than 1MB)
• Photograph (jpeg, passport size, less than 200KB), along with candidate signature
• Bank details
• A valid personal email address
• Mobile number

As per the bulletin, the selection process will be entirely merit-based. However, preference will be given to applicants residing in the respective districts and Business Areas (BA). The authority will send document verification emails to shortlisted candidates by 30^th July 2022. The date of the selection list declaration will be somewhere in August 2022 (TBA).
