CAT 2020 results announced, score card released
The results for CAT 2020 have been declared by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore today. Candidates can visit the official website to check their score card. To download their score cards, students will have to log-in individually. Earlier this week, the final answer key for CAT 2020 was released which was a modification to the provisional answer key released previously on December 8, 2020.
This year, the exam was held on 29th November in centre-based online mode and a total of 2,27,835 candidates registered for CAT 2020. The candidates who clear the exam will now be called for further rounds which include group discussion and personal interview. However, due to the ongoing pandemic, the interviews might be held virtually, the details for which will be released separately.
CAT 2020 score card
The CAT 2020 results consist of a score card with percentile along with candidate details like registration number, name and category. This year, candidates’ score cards reveal marks in percentile and not in percentage. The Overall Scaled Score mentioned on the score card is the sum of scaled scores in the three sections.
How to download the score card
To download the CAT 2020 score card, follow the steps below.
Step 1: Visit the official website: iimcat.ac.in
Step 2: Click CAT 2020 result in the results section
Step 3: Insert log-in credentials in the next window, as required
Step 4: Click submit and get access to CAT 2020 results.
Now that CAT 2020 results have been announced, the counselling process for admission to various IIMs and non-IIM B-Schools will commence shortly.
CAT 2020 was the entrance examination conducted to provide admissions to PG programmes in management at B-Schools across the country, the results for which are out now. There was a considerable change in the exam pattern this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Along with the duration of the CAT 2020 exam which was reduced to two hours from three hours, the sectional time duration for each section was reduced to 40 minutes from 60 minutes.
