Preparation tips for CMAT exam 2021

Here are some tips to study for CMAT exam 2021 to boost your preparation:

  • For preparing QA and LR sections, it's important that the candidate develops a problem-solving approach. Make a list of your strong and weak areas while analyzing your process when arriving at those answers.
  • Focus on the strong areas just before the exam rather than focusing on the weak ones.
  • The general awareness section has both national and international GK. It is important to note that this section can be well-attempted only if the candidate is abreast with daily news. Inculcate a habit of reading newspapers and journals every day.
  • The RC passages in CMAT exam 2021 are likely to be from Literature, Art & Culture, Economy, Science, History, Philosophy, Sociology, or Geography, therefore, make a point to read RCs from areas you’re not familiar with daily.
  • In your free time, you can enhance your problem-solving skills by regularly solving crosswords, puzzles, and sudoku.
  • Solve previous year question papers preferably on a timer to judge your time management skills section-wise. Take mocks and analyze them.
  • Data Interpretation questions can be time-consuming. Practice them to reduce time. Practice calculations too, and use the method of approximation to solve faster.
  • Lastly, it's important to remember to stay calm during and just before the exam day. It’s necessary to get good sleep, eat healthily, follow a suitable routine, and revise all the notes before the final day.

Follow the latest notifications as and when they are announced on the official CMAT exam 2021 website. Carry your admit card, photo identity proof to the exam hall. And you’ll be good to go.

All the best!
