Coal India Limited is inviting applications for a large number of Management Trainee posts. Eligible candidates must apply before 22nd July 2022. A total number of 1050 candidates will be hired for the posts. Candidates applying for the post should have a GATE 2022 Score in Mining or Civil or Electronics & Telecommunication or System and EDP.

Applications started on 23rd June and will continue till 22nd July 2022. The selection of the candidates will be based on their scores in GATE 2022.

Coal India Recruitment 2022: Job Description and Eligibility

Candidates must have one of the following educational qualifications:

• For Mining - Candidates must have a BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) Degree in Mining Engineering with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks.
• For Civil - Candidates must have a BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks.

• For Electronics & Telecommunication - Candidates must have a BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) Degree in Electronics & Telecommunication; Electronics & Communication Engineering with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks.
• For System and EDP - Candidates must have a BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engg./IT or MCA, with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks.

Coal India Recruitment 2022: Selection Process

Eligible candidates must have appeared for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE – 2022). Candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:3 for further selection based on their GATE-2022 scores/marks and requirements.

The final merit list for each discipline will be prepared on the basis of GATE-2022 scores/marks. During the training period, selected candidates will be placed as Management Trainees in E-2 Grade on a pay scale of INR 50,000 - 1,60,000/- with an initial Basic of INR 50,000/- per month.

Note: GATE Scores/Marks of 2022 will only be valid and GATE Score/Marks of 2021 or prior to that will not be considered valid.

Application fees will be required as follows - 

• For General UR/OBC (Creamy Layer & Non-Creamy Layer) / EWS - INR 1000/-
• SC / ST / PwD / ESM candidates / Employees of Coal India Limited and its Subsidiaries - INR 180/-
