Cognizant GenC Hiring 2025: Process & Timelines
The GenC hiring process consists of multiple stages:

- Attendance in all Communication, Aptitude, and Technical assessments is required to qualify for the technical interview.
- Selected candidates will be hired as freshers; prior work experience is not considered.

Cognizant GenC Program Hiring 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Before applying, ensure you meet the following requirements. The table below summarizes the essential eligibility criteria for the Cognizant GenC Hiring Program:

All recruits must have a minimum of 60% aggregate in the pursuing degree at the time of joining, with no standing arrears. |

Appropriate conversion as per respective university norms will be considered. |

Candidates with any standing arrears are NOT eligible. |
Work Flexibility |
Must be flexible to work from any Cognizant office location, adapting to different shift timings and technology demands. |

Open to Indian nationals, OCIs, and PIOs who are currently residing in India. |
Communication Email |
Communications will be sent only to the personal email ID registered on Superset. This email ID must remain unchanged throughout the hiring process and until FTE onboarding. |
Cognizant GenC Hiring 2025 Application Link & Process

- Registration: Visit the official portal, click on 'Apply now' and complete the application form.
- Document Upload: Ensure you upload the following mandatory documents:
- Your updated resume accompanied by your latest passport-size photograph.
- An industry accredited certificate, if available.
- Confirmation & Next Steps: After successful registration, monitor your email for further instructions regarding the screening and assessment process.
Important Registration Notes
- Skill Cluster Options: There are three skill clusters you can choose from when registering. Note that the final skill cluster assignment is at Cognizant’s discretion, and you must remain flexible to learn additional areas during training.
- Default (Skill Cluster 1): Java, ANSI SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (85% emphasis on Java & ANSI SQL).
- Skill Cluster 2: Python, ANSI SQL, Cloud Fundamentals (85% on Python & ANSI SQL)
- Skill Cluster 3: C#, ANSI SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (85% on C# & ANSI SQL)
- Accuracy of Personal Information: Ensure your name and DOB match exactly with your 10th marksheet and PAN card. All registration details are final—any discrepancies may result in disqualification.
- Communication & Documentation: Use your personal email for registration and all future communications, which cannot be changed during the hiring process. A provisional certificate or degree is mandatory for joining.
