After a long wait, St. Stephen’s released its cut-off 2020 for admissions into the bachelor level (UG) courses. It is nothing but obvious that the cut-off has shot up from the past year. Candidates who have secured 99.25% or higher in their 12th board examinations are eligible for admission into B.A. (Hons) Economics, and 99% to secure admissions into B.A. Programme. The cut-off remains the same for students who come from both the commerce and science streams.

However, the biggest leap was seen in the cut-offs of B.A. (Hons) Sanskrit. Last year, the cut-off for the course was 65% and this year, the cut-off rose to 70% for science and commerce students. From students coming from the Humanities stream, the cut-off for Sanskrit Hons. still remains at 65%.

Below is a table of the cut-offs (General category) regarding the various courses and in relation to the different streams released by the college:

The higher cut-offs are indicative of the tone that is being set for the release of cut-offs of the other colleges of Delhi University, later in the month of October. Delhi University will soon release its cut-off on the basis of marks scored by candidates in tandem with the BFS (Best Four Subjects). Students who clear the cut-off for their chosen course will then have to submit the essential documents for the purpose of verification.
