DU PG admissions 2020: First merit list released

The adrenaline rush and anxieties are at an all-time high with the much delayed first admission list finally being released by Delhi University for Postgraduate admissions 2020. Candidates can now head to DU’s official website du.ac.in to check the PG merit list. 

The admission list is released based on their merit score as well as entrance examination conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) as DUET (Delhi University Entrance Test) 2020. DU PG first merit list was released on 18 November 2020. Merit is considered only for those students who have completed their graduation from Delhi University. For other universities, admissions are open via an entrance examination.

DU PG Merit List 2020

DU PG admission 2020 is under consideration for 54 postgraduate programmes of the university. The DU PG Merit list is published separately for different programmes. The list of shortlisted candidates is in the form of a PDF document mentioning roll numbers, names and other information like GPA or entrance score.

Entrance scores are based on DUET (Delhi University Entrance Examination) 2020 conducted by NTA and the merit-based score is based on scores submitted by candidates on the online DU PG portal.

In order to check the first merit list for DU PG admissions 2020, one needs to:

• Visit the official website of Delhi University, click here
• Head to ‘First Admission List 2020: Post Graduation’
• Select your course
• Download the PDF file for the merit list
• Browse through your result using roll number or name.

Important information bulletin

DU PG Admissions 2020 were entirely online this year due to COVID-19 pandemic. The process was revised in its entirety with the online portal created for each student’s dashboard. The updated admission information bulletin for DU PG admissions was released by the university in June 2020, the same can be accessed here.

In order to avoid any confusion, the university is conducting various webinars and admission related counselling. The contact details of the nodal officers for each course have been updated in the information bulletin and personal dashboard has been of great utility to the candidates.
