FSSAI 2022 Recruitment Exam Pattern

All candidates for different positions in FSSAI have to appear for a test divided into three sections:

Computer-based test (CBT),
Written exam, and
Interview

1. Computer-based Test (CBT)

It consists of:

General Aptitude (25 questions)
Computer literacy
Functional test (75 questions)

It is a two-hour multiple-choice questions (MCQ) test. For each correct response, four points will be awarded, and one point will be subtracted for each incorrect answer. After the exam, the FSSAI exam results are posted on the official website as soon as they are available. The individual marks are presented when a cutoff is released.

About FSSAI

Set up in 2006 under the Food Safety and Standards Act (FSSA), FSSAI – Food Safety and Standards Authority of India – is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. The FSSAI is one huge umbrella under which various previous laws, regulations, and rules of food safety are integrated.

On August 5, 2011, Dr. Anbumani Ramadoss, the former Union Minister, Government of India, formed FSSAI. The FSSAI is responsible for setting standards for food so that there is one body to deal with and no confusion in the minds of consumers, traders, manufacturers, and investors.
