Raghav Goyal, a 2020 IT graduate from a private university in Delhi has come out as a great motivation to follow our dreams and never give up, whatever the situation be. With his recent placement in IDfy through D2C Recruitables for the role of Software Developer Engineer (SDE), he has set the perfect example that your talent speaks louder than your past profile! Here is what we mean…

We've all been there: we've spent hours searching for a job, scrolled through numerous postings, and applied to a variety of openings, only to receive no response! Reason? In all probability, the problem is in our resume. And the worst part is that you cannot help much with it. Just to be clear we are not pointing our fingers at ill formatting or wrong grammar of a resume. We're talking about a far greater problem here: when your CV seems like a blank page. Such was the case of Raghav Goyal!

...and then came the saviour: off-campus hiring drive!

Raghav being a pass out of a private college, had no claim to the title of the best institution in the country, nor did he have any remarkable extra-curricular achievements to display, which justifies the daunting fear of not getting placed in a company of repute! But this traveling enthusiast did not freak out and took on his first job with a tech company. But somewhere he knew, he needed a more challenging profile. It was when he saw a mail from D2C Recruitables he knew he had to apply to this largest off-campus hiring drive.

In an exclusive interview with Unstop (formerly Dare2Compete) he said,

It is these hiring drives that offer a pandora box of opportunities to the students who cannot make it to tier-I colleges due to any reason for that matter. Moreover, it offers a platform for students with no or less work experience and extracurricular experience. These drives are a perfect platform for getting judged based on your skillset solely. Not to forget to mention the ease of giving just one set of assessments and appearing for a dozen of companies with the same result!

It was his training and practice in coding that led him to greater heights. We must say, it is with such relentlessness and dedication to achieve big despite the unfavorable conditions, one can do wonders. Congratulations Raghav for begging the SDE role at IDfy!
