GMAT 2023 scores are essential for admission to prestigious graduate management programs like MBA at top global business schools. To apply, candidates need to visit gmac.com, register for the exam, create an account, complete the application form, pay the fee, and upload the required documents.

For Indian candidates, the GMAT registration fee is INR 22,800. Candidates outside India will pay either $275 or $300 for the online exam (approximately INR 24,600).

GMAT 2023: 10 Changes by GMAC

The conducting body of GMAT has introduced GMAT Focus Edition with some structural changes in the GMAT 2023 for the academic year 2023-24.

  1. The exam duration has been shortened, with three 45-minute segments replacing the previous format.
  2. The essay writing component has been removed from this year's GMAT exam.
  3. A new feature allows candidates to review and edit their answers to questions.
  4. Candidates can arrange sections according to their preferences, providing greater flexibility.
  5. The GMAT syllabus has been updated: the sentence correction section has been removed, and a Data Insights segment has been added.
  6. The GMAT 2023 exam will last for three hours and seven minutes.
  7. Test takers will get an improved Official Score Report with detailed performance insights.
  8. The GMAT 2023 exam will have only 3 sections, allowing 2 minutes per question.

1. When can I take the GMAT in 2023?

Interested candidates can take GMAT 2023 from November 7, 2023 onwards.

2. Who is eligible for GMAT 2023?

To take the GMAT 2023 exam, one must be at least 18 years old. But, if you're between 13 and 17 years old, one can show a written agreement from a parent or legal guardian giving you permission. There's no maximum age limit, so anyone older than 18 can also go ahead and take GMAT 2023.

3. What are the changes in GMAT 2023?

Some of the changes in the pattern of GMAT 2023 include:

  1. The number of sections has been reduced to three.
  2. There will be no AWA section in GMAT 2023.
  3. A new Data Insights segment has been added.
  4. One can bookmark questions in the GMAT Focus edition.

4. Can GMAT be cracked in 3 months?

Yes! GMAT has a defined pattern which makes it easier for people to prepare. It is highly suggested to take mock tests and prepare a study plan to bag the desired score.

5. Is GMAT more difficult than CAT?

No, usually the difficulty level of CAT is higher than GMAT.
