It was a thrilling moment when I realized that I was selected among the top 13 finalists for Godrej LOUD 2018. I was excited, nervous, and ecstatic all at once! It was an opportunity to make my mark in the field I am so passionate about.

The highlight of this competition is that it is not a typical corporate competition. It gives you the opportunity to share your dream and practically work out a plan towards achieving it and submit it in the form of a video. This factor had me excited for the competition and motivated me to give my best towards it.

As easy as it sounds, it involved a lot of work towards deciding the structure of your dream i.e., how would you portray it. Once you get that done, working towards the video part gets a tad easier. With the help of my friends and seniors, I submitted my video after a lot of changes and edits.

There were 13 finalists competing with each other in the finale. To present your dream in front of such eminent personalities with a fully packed auditorium was an altogether different experience. All of our dreams were diverse, ranging from the field of sports and medicine to arts, etc. It was an overwhelming moment to see the dreams of people from different backgrounds and places at a single event.

The people behind the scene, i.e., the people at Godrej made us comfortable and were so helpful that we didn’t feel that we are competing on such a big platform. They were always available to guide us and help with what we need.

Godrej LOUD 2018 has played a special role in making me realize the possibility of achieving things in the field I was so passionate about. This has helped me to push my limits and explore my capabilities. It was very inspiring and will keep on motivating me to achieve more in life.
