Godrej LOUD 2018. Dream. Wasim Kagzi. National Finalist. Can you imagine what happens when these words combine? It makes a dream come true, Literally. Screaming and celebrating with joy, my friends rushed in my room informing me about the results. It was one of the most cherished moments of my life. My joy and excitement knew no bounds.

My LOUD journey has been very promising and rewarding. It transformed me from a reluctant and nervous individual to a more mature and confident soul. I am really grateful to the entire LOUD team for giving me this glorious opportunity to showcase my dream. Fortunately, I have the support of such great friends and seniors who believed in me and helped me throughout this journey.

For every MBA student, even before entering a B-School, winning a corporate competition is always a dream. Moreover, Godrej LOUD 2018 is not just another case study competition, but a unique platform to showcase your passion. Not only that, it also goes to the extent of fulfilling your passion which makes it very unique and prestigious. This blend of novelty and challenge to fulfill my dream nudged me to participate in this challenge.

Because of the nature of the competition, I didn’t have to prepare anything separately for it. I took inputs from friends, family members, and seniors about the pattern and flow of the video. The next part was to brainstorm all the ideas considering the flow of my life events and the dream I wish to achieve. I prepared the video accordingly. The most challenging phase was to present my case to the who’s who of Godrej and the world. I accomplished that with practice and perseverance.

The competition was very well organized. From the launch of the event on campus to the Grand Finale, everything was perfectly managed. And personal monitoring by the senior team from Godrej just added to the already perfect event.

The idea behind organizing the event, the evaluation methodology and execution was designed very scientifically. It enhanced the challenge and enthusiasm for participating in the event. Also, Godrej surprised all the participants with a video made by their friends on the day of the finale. This was truly an amazing moment.

Since it was the very first B-School competition for me, the exposure I got was unparalleled. As I was presenting my passion, I got to know more about myself. Moreover, it helped me learn and get inspired from my supremely talented peers from other B-Schools. It also helped me network with prominent personalities in the corporate world.

On the day of the competition, I had my final exam of a crucial subject. I finished my paper early and rushed to the competition venue. This nail-biting experience added to already existing excitement. Overall, it was the best day of my life. It feels great to be a part of such an event. A truly memorable experience indeed!
