Hero Campus Challenge Season 3 organized by Hero Motorcorp limited, a well-known name in the two-wheeler industry. This was a very execution-centric challenge which utilized real-life business challenges as a base to check the skills of resolving the day to day challenges in business and the business acumen in creating a larger consumer base. The most well-researched and viable plan presented by the partcipants is executed in the next 2 to 3 years which makes this challenge a unique one. The winners can get a real-life experience from this execution and learn from it.

The challenge was open to all full-time students pursuing a two-year flagship PGDM/PGP program in the selected Engineering colleges and B-schools. View the complete list of the colleges here. The students were asked to form a team with three members from the same institution.

Hero Campus Challenge was a case-based competition which spanned across 3-different stages. In stage one, the teams got one week’s time to upload their solutions online. The solutions had to be made according to the current scenario of the challenge as per the case study. The names of shortlisted teams were announced online.

The shortlisted teams progressed to stage 2 where they had to present a detailed research analysis and a viable solution for the same case. The Jury evaluated the solutions and prepared a list of teams qualifying for the Grand Finale.

The selected teams travelled to Delhi and got one week’s time to further work on their solutions. In the finale, the teams got 30 mins to present their solutions and recommendations based on their extensive research to the panel of Jury (Executive Management team) followed by a 10 mins Q&A session by the Panel and the audience.

The team who presented the most well-researched solution along with the most viable recommendation under prevailing circumstances was chosen as the winner. Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai grabbed the first position, Mudra Institute of Communications (MICA), Ahmedabad was declared as the first runners-up and Xavier Institute of Management (XIM), Bhubaneswar was awarded the second runners-up position.

The winning team was awarded INR 2 lakh along with PPI and INR lakh and ₹50,000 was awarded to 1st and 2nd Runners-up team respectively.

Hero Campus Challenge 2017 ranked seventh in the Most Prestigious B-School Competitions of the Year 2018 as part of Dare2Compete Awards based on 3600+ student responses from across all B-Schools.
