Hero Campus Challenge Season 3 National Runners Up MICA's Shubham Chaturvedi's Story
My personal interest in the automobile sector was one of the main reasons to participate in this competition. Over that, the opportunity offered by HeroMotoCorp was immense. So, I knew I had to take this up and challenge myself.
We started by doing secondary research on the ideas that were finalized. Above that, we carried out primary research by conducting a survey with a few seniors and other people outside MICA and it helped us a lot to stronghold our insights. Then, we nearly worked for 2 months for this competition as such was the demand. Last week was pretty tiring as we took a spot in the library and worked there daily to finalize our presentation and back it with strong data.
The journey was full of conflicts and it happened every day. But the end results that we achieved after the heated discussion was what mattered the most. We were able to challenge our own insights, reject them and generate new ones because of our tendency to question everything. Our team’s forte was its presentation and the ability to find a good reason behind what was being written on the slides.
There were 10 teams in the finale. The team from NMIMS was our toughest competitor as their ideas were innovative and were backed by thorough research. We improved more on research and the strength of a good presentation. Hero Campus Challenge Season 3 was well-organized and met our expectations. We had an amazing time and our experience was enriching.
