IIFT 2020 Notification - Exam dates, pattern, syllabus

Offering admission to its flagship MBA (IB) programme, IIFT conducts an annual entrance test providing admission to its three campuses in the cities of Delhi, Kolkata and Kakinada (AP).
IIFT 2020: Key Changes
With the NTA conducting the exam this year, the IIFT has incorporated a few changes in the exam. The major changes are:
- This year, the test conducted will be computer-based which earlier was paper-based.
- The registration process, which began on 9th September this year, has to be completed online on the official website of NTA. Earlier, IIFT’s registration process used to begin in the month of July.
- Speeding up the result declaration process, the IIFT has announced that the results this year will be declared on 11th December, 10 days after the exam is held.
- Admissions to the Kakinada campus which was set to begin last year, i.e., 2018, with a total strength of 60 students, have yet not commenced. The date of its launch is still not finalized.
- The online exam, which might have a few changes incorporated this year, will be conducted in a single session.
- The exam will consist of 6 sections instead of 4 sections.
- The agreement with the IMF-Tanzania campus has not yet been renewed and so the IIFT entrance exam will not be offering admissions to Dar-es-Salaam campus.

Exam Syllabus and Pattern
Having increased the number of sections in the IIFT exam paper in the year 2017 from 4 to 6, the test judges the candidates on grounds of Vocabulary and Comprehension, English Grammar, Logical Reasoning, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Quantitative Analysis and Data Interpretation. To be completed in the duration of 120 minutes, the sectional division is as follows:
