IIM Bangalore Summer Placements: 542 Offers For 513 Students; Consulting Dominates With 181 Offers
IIM Bangalore summer placements witnessed a record 100% placements within just 2 days! The summer placement process for the PGP and PGP-BA Class of 2021-23 of the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM B) saw a total of 542 offers for 513 students.
“With the market reviving post-pandemic, the industry is looking for talent in large numbers” to manage the post-pandemic market,” IIM B's Prof. Kumar explained.

IIM Bangalore: The record placement season
IIM Bangalore witnessed a record placement season with all the 513 students getting placed within just two days. IIM B recorded a total of 542 full-time offers, with an increase of nearly 30 percent in the placements for students of the Postgraduate Programme (PGP) and Post Graduate Programme-Business Analytics (PGP-BA) this year compared to last year.
Prof. U Dinesh Kumar, the chairperson of Career Development Services at IIM B, explained in an interview, “On an average, we have had nearly 20 to 30 percent more offers from prominent recruiters in comparison to last year. This is undoubtedly the best summer placement we have seen since 2018. The economy is reviving, and the industry is looking for talent in large numbers to manage the post-pandemic market.”
