IIM-Indore launch program on People Analytics and Digital HR with Jigsaw Academy

The Indian Institute of Management, Indore has partnered with Jigsaw Academy to launch a new certification program on People Analytics and Digital HR. The online course is particularly designed to define and solve problems related to attrition, employee hiring, engagement and learning. 

The reason behind the launch of a program on People Analytics and Digital HR by  IIM-Indore originates from market research carried out in collaboration with Jigsaw Academy. The study indicated that the HR space is no longer a luxury, but a much-needed tool that is sought after by professionals irrespective of their job role and career stage. 

The aim of the initiative is to address the need for data and fact-based decision-making strategy amidst the challenges of the changing work environment, especially in a pandemic & post-pandemic world. Program overview

The People Analytics and Digital HR program is designed to empower modern human resource managers with tools and techniques that will help them make better decisions. The curriculum is designed by highly experienced designers and developers, who have successfully covered the essential skills of HR Analytics & Digital Transformation in one course. 

The live, online-instructor led course will consist of webinars and assignments spread across 3 months with special provisions made for the availability of eLearning content. All students will be required to complete a capstone project that will feature real-life business problems. They will also be trained to get well-versed in digital analytics, data management and data visualisation tools to solve complex problems in HR, with the help of real life case-based examples.

To join the said program launched by Jigsaw Academy and IIM-Indore, candidates must meet the following two criteria: i) Graduation with minimum 50% marks, and ii) At least 2 years of post-qualification relevant HR experience. Interested applicants are to submit their resume online. The fee for the course is Rs. 95,000, with an early-bird discount that can be availed by those who sign up at the earliest. 

Applicants who successfully complete the online course will receive a joint certificate from the two institutions. They will also have the opportunity to apply for placements in the HR domain for profiles like Digital HR Specialist, HR Applications Specialist, and HR Product Manager. According to job sites, the basic salary of an HR analyst is in the range of Rs. 8-15 lakh per year, making these placements a lucrative opportunity.
