IIM Jammu Placements 2022 Records 31% Increment In The Average Salary Package; Highest CTC Of INR 32 LPA
For the fifth batch of MBA students (2020-2022), the Indian Institute of Management Jammu has announced its final placement report. 217 MBA students participated in the placement rounds. The highest CTC offered was INR 32 LPA.
It's been reported that average pay at the university has increased by 31% since last year. This year's top 10% CTC was INR 29.80 LPA, while the median and average CTC was INR 13.53 LPA and INR 11.4 LPA, respectively.
Prof. B.S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu said, “Better placements over the last year indicate an optimistic placement scenario despite fears about the new variant of virus omicron surfacing and posing to affect the business economy throughout the globe.”
IIM Jammu Placement 2022 Highlights
- With a total of 119 companies visiting this year's Placement, IIM- Jammu is one of the fastest-growing IIMs in the country.
- A record 217 students of the Batch 2020-22 participated in the placement process.
- Students bagged employment in almost all the major domains whether it be Marketing, Product Management, Consulting, Finance and General Management.
- The highest package to be bagged by a student clocked at INR 32 LPA, while the average and median CTC stood at INR 13.53 LPA and 11.4 LPA respectively.
- Last year 104 offers were received whereas this year a total of 222 offers were made.
Prof. Jabir Ali, Chairperson, Placements said, “A jump was witnessed in the average and median package offered this year. The success of the placements season is driven by the trust of the recruiters in IIM Jammu''.
IIM Jammu Placement - Top Recruiters
The batch of 2020-2022 saw a major presence of recruiters from almost every industry- IT, Automotive, Edtech, E-Commerce, Consulting, Logistics etc. The campus placements reported the footfall of almost every major company such as Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, Deloitte, Hyundai, KPMG, Paytm, Aditya Birla Fashion, Byju’s, Brillio, BenQ, KPMG, Optum, PwC, Vedanta and Xiaomi amongst many others.
Prof. Jabir Ali, Chairperson and Dr. Baljeet Singh, Co-Chairperson placements, coordinated the placement activity under the guidance of Prof. B.S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu.
Prof. B.S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu said, “Despite the considerable increase in the batch size from the previous year, we are proud to announce this year's placement season to be a resounding success. Despite the difficulties posed by the pandemic, IIM Jammu was able to adapt to the new normal and was able to conduct the entire process smoothly online.”
Established in 2016, IIM-Jammu is the youngest Indian Institute of Management. And year after year, it is reaching new heights in terms of delivering the best output, resulting in raising the bar of the institution.
