IIM Kozhikode Executive MBA program performs well in QS Global EMBA Ranking

IIM Kozhikode, a pristine campus which holds a promise of a bright future for everyone who steps foot on campus. It appeased the eye with its beauty, aptly called "God's own campus" but also satiates the hunger to excel and dream big. It has over the years shown great progress and has been ranked 6th in the NIRF ranking for B-Schools. Students of this renowned B-School attract the spotlight with their achievements and take to success like second nature. Evident in the fact that IIM Kozhikode was ranked as the 2nd D2C Competitive B-School, with 43 stage finishes in corporate and student organised competitions over the past academic year. In yet another ranking the IIM Kozhikode’s Executive MBA Programme has been globally recognized by the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Global Executive MBA (EMBA) Rankings 2020.

IIM Kozhikode offers an Executive MBA program that has ranked 15+ in the Asia Pacific Region and 101+ globally. This puts the institute at par with HEC Lausanne of Switzerland and Kent State University of the USA.

In the Asia Pacific Region, IIM Kozhikode stands with the Indian School of Business Hyderabad and the University of Texas (China Centre). This was the 4th edition of the QS Global EMBA Rankings, and had nine indicators grouped under five categories :

• Career Outcomes
• Diversity
• Employer Reputation
• Executive Profile
• Thought Leadership

A total of 161 EMBA programs from 35 countries qualified for the rankings. IIM Kozhikode scored the highest in the Career Outcomes category, followed by Employer Reputation and Thought Leadership. These three categories were the strongest suits that helped the institute secure such a reputable rank.

Prof. Debahis Chatterjee, Director of the institute, attributed the achievement to the institute’s ‘holistic and intense’ approach towards learning. IIM Kozhikode introduced the Executive MBA program in 2008. Prof. Chatterjee, while commenting on the stellar performance of the program, said, “We take immense pride in this achievement as it underlines our commitment towards inculcating diversity, enhancing employer reputation, evoking thought leadership and offering distinct career outcomes to our students.”

It is definitely an outstanding feat as the QS rankings have immense global repute. They are annually published by the QS World University Ranking Team. The B-School is one of the preferred ones for MBA aspirants. With great performance in national level and international rankings, all eyes are on IIM Kozhikode.
