IIM Kozhikode records 100% placement for MBA in Business Leadership | 72% women placed in senior leadership roles

Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode, registered 100 per cent placement for its inaugural batch of Post Graduate Programme in Business Leadership (PGP-BL). The one-year MBA programme batch recorded an average salary of ₹24.20 lakh per annum and the median at ₹20.47 lakh.

39 companies walked into the campus of IIM Kozhikode and extended 71 offers (four of them being international offers) to 65 students who participated in the placement drive. The highest offered placement package stood at the CTC of ₹46.14 lakh a year.

As per a statement, 72% of the female participants attained leadership roles, another 27% of the women were recruited in women-focused leadership roles and were offered an average salary of ₹21.73 LPA.

While most of the recruiters came from the traditional corporate background i.e. manufacturing, IT, automotive, oil and gas, retail, BFSI; the batch also witnessed few diverse participant profiles like entrepreneurship, family business, and merchant navy.
