IIM Udaipur Placements 2023: Average CTC Up By 14%, Top Offer INR 36 LPA
IIM Udaipur, a second-generation IIM, is one of the fastest-growing management schools in India. It was set up by the Indian Government in 2011. Taking the legacy of older IIMs forward, IIM Udaipur aspires to set new benchmarks in the field of management education by combining excellence in both teaching and research. IIM Udaipur has been ranked in the top 100 for 4th year in a row in FT MIM Top 100 Global Rankings 2022. In QS Top 150+ MIM Global Rankings 2022, IIM Udaipur remains the youngest B-School in the world and stands amongst the seven IIMs to be included in the list.
Concluding the final placements of their flagship MBA batch (2021-2023), the Institute recorded 100% placement and shared their top-line figures showing a remarkable increase in the CTC offers. Below is a quick snapshot of the IIM Udaipur placement season.
IIM Udaipur Placements 2023: Key Highlights
The MBA batch of 2021-23 has a student count of 305, out of which 301 students sought placement support. The highest CTC stood at INR 36 LPA. Following are the details of the average CTC of the batch.

70+ companies offered opportunities in the IIM Udaipur placement season 2023. BFSI was the highest recruiting sector, followed by Consulting and Tech.
Some of the prominent recruiters who re-visited IIM Udaipur for final placements included Accenture Strategy, Amazon, Bain and Company, Bajaj Auto, BNY, Cisco, Ernst & Young, Goldman Sachs, General Electric, JPMC, McKinsey, Pidilite, PWC, Wells Fargo, and others.
Some of the new recruiters included Adani Group, Bank of America, Clearing Corporation of India, Everest Group, Godrej & Boyce, Orient Electric, SBI Capital Markets, Schneider Electric, Shalina Healthcare, State Street, and Times Group, amongst others
Uptick in the average CTC
- IIM Udaipur saw a 14% increase in the average CTC and a 16% increase in the median CTC. Last year the average CTC was INR 17.8 LPA while this year it rose to INR 20.32 LPA.
- Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) through summer internships rose by approx. 30% indicating a growing acceptance by the industry for IIM Udaipur students.
Besides focusing on research and transformative learning, IIM Udaipur has gained distinctive prominence through its Global Rankings, accreditation, and various initiatives, including setting up Centers of Excellence in important areas like digital, supply chain, and healthcare. It is also the only B-School in India to have a Consumer Culture Lab.
