The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar has brought an amazing internship opportunity for students. The students can get a stipend of INR 16,000 or more depending on the duration of the Summer Research Internship Program (SRIP) 2023!

IIT Gandhinagar Summer Internship: Key highlights 

The application for SRIP IIT Gandhinagar commenced on February 10, 2023. Aspiring candidates still have a chance to apply until March 5, 2023. The minimum duration of the internship is eight weeks, and students can start between May 5 and July 15, 2023. 

Who can apply for SRIP 2023?

The IIT Gandhinagar internship program 2023 is open to students pursuing Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. Applications will be reviewed for academic background and performance in academics and extracurricular activities. Along with this, research interest and prior experience will increase the selection chances of the applicants.

Stipend and rewards

The selected students would be entitled to wonderful rewards. The students would be given a stipend of INR 2,000 each week making their monthly stipend amount INR 8,000 per month. Students who are paid for by the faculty will get a different stipend amount. Moreover, high-performing students will be given additional benefits. 

Some students can also receive INR 50,000 under the Bhalodia-Khetan Summer Research Excellence Award (SREA). This award is given to students who display an aptitude for research in the categories of engineering, natural sciences, humanities & social sciences.
