Good News For GATE Aspirants: IIT Madras To Offer Free GATE Coaching (details inside)

IIT Madras has come up with another initiative to help the student fraternity! This time the top-ranking institute has launched a portal to make the preparation journey easier for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) aspirants. Here is how -

IIT Madras, in cooperation with Amadeus Labs, has launched a GATE test preparation online platform through the National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) to assist students in preparing for the GATE exam. 

The NPTEL GATE Portal is free and open to all students, thanks to CSR sponsorship from Amadeus Labs Bengaluru.

Interested candidates can click on - gate.nptel.ac.in to use the NPTEL-IIT Madras GATE preparation portal.

Launched during an event hosted by IITM PALS, a social initiative of pre-eminent alumni of IITs, the portal is a one-stop platform that,

• Covers everything from concepts to tricks for cracking the GATE exam. 
• Has live mentoring sessions as well, enabling active learning for GATE aspirants.

NPTEL is a combined IIT-IISc effort that offers free online certification courses. The GATE portal, which is launched to provide free coaching to students, seeks to deliver video solutions, practice tests, and online support to around 9-10 lakh students who will take the GATE next year.

GATE examination tests candidates based on their knowledge gained during their undergraduation. And NPTEL is aiding the graduates by giving them equal opportunities and access to all of the resources that they need to compete for higher education and better work prospects.
