Recruitment and Assessment Centre (RAC), DRDO has released notification for 630 vacancies for Scientist B across DRDO, Department of Science and Technology(DST), and Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA). Read further for details.
Eligibility for DRDO recruitment 2022
Graduate engineers and Postgraduates in Science (including students who are appearing/have appeared in their final year examination and are likely to get final/provisional degree) are eligible to apply for the posts of Scientist B at DRDO, DST and ADA.
Candidates from the following Engineering branches and Science streams are eligible to apply: ECE, Mechanical, CSE, Electrical, Material Science/Metallurgical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Aeronautical, Civil, Instrumentation, Naval Architecture, Environment Science & Engineering, Atmospheric Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry.
The age limit for the unreserved/EWS category is 28 years, 35 years, and 30 years for DRDO, DST, and ADA respectively.
Selection process and salary details for DRDO recruitment 2022
Based on the discipline, vacancies are divided into two parts. For Part 1 (having 3 disciplines), the selection will be based on GATE scores, written examination and a personal interview. For Part 2 (having 14 disciplines) the selection will be based on a valid GATE score and personal interview.
The written examination will consist of two papers of 300 marks each. There would be two sessions of 3 hours each. The written examination is likely to be conducted on 16th October 2022.
The monthly salary (including HRA and all other allowances) at the time of joining would be INR 88,000 (7th CPC).
