Interview round of Uttar Pradesh Engineering Service Exam 2019 to be held from 22nd February to 6th March, PCS 2019 results out

The Uttar Pradesh Service Commission (UPPSC) has notified that the interview round of Combined State Engineering Service Exam 2019 will start from 22nd February and continue till 6th March. Interview call letters have been issued by the commission to the shortlisted candidates.

Details of the exam

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) publishes a huge number of vacant positions. It is a well known organization of Uttar Pradesh that invites applicants for UPPSC Engineering Service Exam for various Engineering posts.

A total of 137605 candidates had registered for the written exam which was notified in 2019, the interview for which is now being held to fill 648 posts. For the interview, a total of 1284 candidates have been shortlisted.

Uttar Pradesh PCS exam 2019 result out

The UP PCS exam, also known as the Combined State/ Upper Subordinate Services Exam results have been declared. A total of 434 candidates have been recommended by the UPPSC for appointment. 46 candidates have been selected to join as Deputy Collector. For Assistant Commissioner Industries, a total of 19 candidates have been selected. For Block Development Officer post and Nayab Tehsildar post, a total of 19 and 150 candidates have been selected respectively.

PCS (Provincial Civil Service)

It is the administrative service under Group A state service of the executive branch of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. PCS officers hold various posts at sub-divisional, district divisional, and state level from conducting revenue administration to maintaining law and order. It is also one of the three feeder services to its respective All India Services.

1. Visit the official site: uppsc.up.nic.in
2. Once the website opens, click on ‘UPPSC PCS Result 2019’ link on home page
3. A new page will open where the list will be published 
4. Candidates can check their name on the list 
5. Take a printout of the result for future reference
