IOCL Recruitment 2023: 65 Vacancies With Monthly Salary Upto INR 1.05 Lakh

Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has announced vacancies for the post of junior engineering assistant for its Refinery/ Petrochemical Units. Per the IOCL Recruitment 2023 notification, there are 65 vacancies for diploma holders in multiple domains, including mechanical and electrical engineering. 

Headquartered in New Delhi, IOCL is a ‘Maharatna’ company. It’s also the largest government-owned oil producer in the country and ranked at 142nd position on the Fortune Global 500 list of the world's biggest corporations as of 2022.

IOCL Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria 

Only Indian nationals can apply. Female candidates are not eligible for the vacancies. 

Please Note: 

• Only diploma holders will be considered for the post. Candidates holding a degree in Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Masters in Business Administration (MBA), Chartered Accountant (CA), Company Secretary (CS), Cost Management Accountant (CMA), Bachelor of Law (LLB), Masters of Computer Applications (MCA), Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or any such equivalent higher professional qualification shall not be eligible.
  
  
• Higher qualification (other than aforementioned professional qualification), shall not be a disqualification. In such cases, the percentage acquired in the prescribed qualification examination will only be considered for eligibility.
  
  
• Individuals who’ve obtained the qualification acquired through Part-time/ Correspondence/ Distance Learning mode are not eligible for the vacancies. 

Relaxations 

• In Age
• For SC/ST candidates: 05 years
• For OBC (NCL): 03 years
• Candidates possessing Boiler Competency Certificate & being considered for the post of JEA-IV (P&U) (for Gujarat Refinery) - 01 year
  
  
• In Qualification
• The minimum qualifying marks will be relaxed by 5% for candidates belonging to SC/ST. 

IOCL Recruitment 2023: Selection Process

The selection process includes a written test and a Skill/ Proficiency/ Physical Test (SPPT). Every candidate will have to secure a minimum of 40% marks in the Written Test for being shortlisted for qualifying for SPPT. SC/ST candidates will receive a relaxation of 5% in the written test marks. 

Short-listed candidates, in the ratio of 1:2 subject to securing minimum qualifying marks in the Written Test, upon document verification found in order will be required to undergo a Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT).

IOCL Recruitment 2023: Salary

The IOCL Recruitment 2023 listed the pay scale as INR 25,000-1,05,000. Selected candidates will also be eligible for other allowances/benefits, namely HRA/ Housing accommodation (as per availability), Medical Facilities, Productivity Incentive, Performance Linked Incentive, Gratuity, Provident Fund, Group Personal Accident Insurance, Leave Encashment, Leave Travel Concession/LFA, Contributory Superannuation Benefit Fund Scheme, House Building Advance, Conveyance Advance/Maintenance Reimbursement, Children Education Allowance, etc., as per Corporation rules.

IOCL Recruitment 2023: Application Process

• Candidates need to select the desired post here and complete the application form online, latest by May 30, 2023.
• Only General, EWS, and OBC (NCL) candidates need to pay the application fee. The application fee is INR 150, to be paid through SBI Collect.
