The Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), a division of ISRO and a leading institution for capacity building and research in the field of remote sensing and geoinformatics, is seeking applicants for its free online course titled— Advances in monitoring and modeling of hydro-meteorological hazards using geospatial technology and process-based models.
This week-long course will begin on 5 December 2022.

- Hydrological modeling and its implementation in hydrometeorological hazards assessment
- Hydrodynamic modeling and its application in hydrometeorological hazards analysis
- Drought monitoring and analysis using remote sensing data
- Snow and glacier mapping and avalanche vulnerability assessment

- Professionals from central/ state government, private organizations, and NGOs engaged in hydrometeorological hazards linked regional and national projects.
