ISRO recruitment 2020: Applications window to close on October 15th
To apply online for the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) recruitment 2020, candidates are requested to fill the application by October 15th, 2020. The recruitment is being scheduled and conducted at ISRO’s centre in Ahmedabad’s Space Applications Centre (SAC). ISRO invited online applications for a total of fifty-five vacancies for Scientists/Engineers, Technical Assistants, and Technician B in March 2020. However, the last date to apply for it was deferred particularly because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Candidates who will be selected will then be eligible for a monthly salary up to INR 2,08,700.
Eligibility criteria for ISRO recruitment 2020
According to the official notification released by ISRO in March this year, there are a total of 55 vacancies. Out of these, 21 are related to the vacancies of Scientists/Engineers. To be eligible for this post the aspiring candidates should have either of the following degrees:
- Ph.D. in any field related to Electronics
- M.Sc in Physics
- M.E. or M.Tech in Computer Science
- M.E. or M.Tech in Electronics
- M.E. or M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- M.E. or M.Tech in Structural Engineering
- M.E. or M.Tech in Electrical Engineering
The vacancies for Technical Assistants are six in number. For this, only those candidates can apply who have a first-class diploma in engineering from a reputed and recognised institution/university in either Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Structural Engineering.
For the post of Technician B, there are about 28 vacancies. Candidates with a Matric (SSC/SSLC/10th class) as well as those from ITI, NTC or NAC in Machinist, Fitter, Information Technology, Electronics, Electrician, Carpenter, Plumber, Chemical, and Mechanical trades can apply.
