The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has rolled out 57 vacant posts in its direct recruitment notification, 2023 under different departments. Out of the total posts, BE/B.Tech graduates from select disciplines can apply for 10 job vacancies at ISRO.

Before applying, interested candidates should go through the following points to see if they fulfill the eligibility criteria:

• B.E/B.Tech. should be in the First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.84 on a 10 scale or equivalent.

• Candidates who possess the required qualification as on the last date of 21/07/2023 and those who are going to complete the required qualification in the academic year 2022-2023 are also eligible to apply for the job provided the final degree is available by 31/08/2023.

As per the ISRO VSSC recruitment 2023, selected scientists/engineers will get a basic pay scale of INR 56,100 per month.

ISRO VSSC Recruitment 2023: Selection Process

To successfully land a job at Satish Dhawan Space Centre, SHAR, Sriharikota (primary spaceport of ISRO), candidates have to clear a mandatory written test. Written test venues will be in the following assigned place:

• Ahmedabad
• Chennai
• Ernakulam
• Hyderabad
• Thiruvananthapuram

It is important to note that BE/B.Tech students selected for the job will be posted across multiple centres of VSSC. Therefore, candidates applying for the job are required to indicate their order of preference in the centre of posting. 

Those candidates who manage to secure the cutoffs in the written test will be shortlisted for an interview in a ratio of 1:5, with a minimum of 10 candidates.
