Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India is a central public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Finance. It is headquartered in Mumbai, Maharastra, and has 290 million policyholders (as of 2019). As per the LIC Recruitment 2023 bulletin the corporation is inviting graduate students from all streams to apply for 300 job openings for the Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) position. LIC Recruitment 2023: Selection Process
The selection process for AAO posts in the LIC Recruitment 2023 scheme will be split into three rounds. They are as follows:
- Phase I- Preliminary Examination: This hour-long online exam will comprise questions about Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language (with special emphasis on grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension).
- Phase II- Main Examination: This exam will consist of objective-type questions worth 300 marks and a descriptive test worth 25 marks. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours 30 mins. It will consist of Reasoning Ability, GK & Current Affairs, Data Analysis & Interpretation, Insurance & Financial Market Awareness, and letter/ essay writing in the English Language.
- Phase III- Interviews: Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview on the basis of marks scored in previous rounds.
