The victory of being the National Finalists of Mahindra War Room Season 11 was a great learning moment for us. It taught us that hard work always pays off! When we won the first round among a whole bunch of students, it was truly a proud moment for us.

Mahindra War Room Season 11 was like an incubator for all future leaders of the country. Surviving the various stages of selection helped us to gain insight into the various requirements and their importance in the corporate world. It also brought us in contact with a pool of the most brilliant minds of the country.

The challenging phase was to make sure that we are able to present the main parts of our idea in the time limit. Also, it was necessary to ensure that we do not boggle the judges with unnecessary details. We prepared through night long sessions as a team. We considered all inputs from every team member. Then, we changed the presentation as many times as needed, so as to ensure that we never compromise on quality.

Though there were multiple conflicts in our team, they were always for the greater good. They helped us improve on our idea. I believe the conflicts as well as working with this diverse team actually helped me the most even beyond the competition. 4 minds worked together, pondered and fought over the solutions till we truly perfected them.

Indrashish was always ready to go the extra mile- the heart of the team. Shubhrojyoti, the perfectionist, made sure the speech, as well as the presentation, did not fall short at showcasing the amount of effort that we had put behind it. Shubhabrata, the finisher, researched and perfected them to the highest standard possible. I was the coordinator who made sure that the team always had a target to follow and achieve.

Our team forte was that each of us was thinking differently for a single goal. We had workhorses and innovators, perfectionists as well as chaotic mindsets; inquisitive as well as a rule-based thought process. All these were the stepping stones that lead our team to success.

All the teams in the finale were from premier institutes, having crossed the previous hectic rounds being thoroughly judged by the corporate leaders. This made them not only well tested and all rounded but truly formidable opponents in their own accord.

The competition was very strong and diverse in terms of judgement, with the rounds mainly dealing with judges from varied backgrounds. Thus, it led to an all rounded judging process. The expectations that we had from the competition was of complete learning and as the company was looking for its future leaders, I expected them to nurture us in the best ways possible. To tell the truth, the organizers did not disappoint us.

The true learning was if you work with a team where no one is afraid to think and voice their opinion, where all think of this podium to be their genuine dream and when they are ready to work through the night in pursuit of that dream, anything is possible.
