MICA Summer Placement 2021: Registers 100% Placement With Highest Stipend Of INR 3.5 Lakhs For Two Months

MICA Ahmedabad, India’s premier institute for Strategic Marketing and Communication has maintained its streak of 100% internship placement for its flagship PGDM-C and PGDM programmes. The institute conducted its two month Summer Internship recruitment for its 2021-2023 batch that witnessed the upward trend of stipend, with the highest package being offered by FMCG sectoring of INR 3.5 Lakh. 

MICA Summer Internship 2021: Demographics

MICA Ahmedabad witnessed a total of 67 companies visiting the campus for the Summer internship recruitment 2021. 178 students participated in the flagship program. The students belonged to varied backgrounds, such as: 

• Engineering
• Commerce graduates
• Arts and Humanities
• Media

The Information technology, ITES sector made 56 offers followed by Media and Advertisement and the FMCG sector at 49 and 30 offers respectively. The highest stipend was offered by the FMCG sector of INR 3.5 Lakhs, in contrast to the 3.2 lakhs of the previous year. Thus, signifying a 9.3% rise from the previous year. A similar trend was observed in the IT sector, which offered the highest stipend of INR 2.5 lakhs, up from INR 2.4 lakhs of the previous year. Indicating an increase of 4%. The Media and Advertising sector recorded the highest stipend of INR 1.6 lakhs.
