World’s leading US-based risk assessment firm, Moody’s is looking to hire Financial Analysts in Gurugram, Haryana. Applications are already out; interested students can apply for the opening by January 17, 2022.

The candidates as Financial Analysts will be working under the DI Strat and Initiative Department where they will have the following roles and responsibilities :

Roles and Responsibilities

Detailed Capital Structure Analysis: Identify all levels of debt tranches, enterprises, financing structures, map guarantees, and collateral
Waterfall analysis to prioritize debt structure and debt collection scenarios at all levels
Adjusted debt calculation and analysis of off-balance-sheet debt positions
Valuation of bond and loan contracts to assess debtor contract protection, mutual rights and priorities, and specific clauses/clauses that may affect the risk/compensation profile of a trade or investment
Report names or track and report news, events, and macro market trends as needed
Understand and summarize your company's business models and strategies, industry scenarios, and key risks to gain a complete understanding of tight deadlines.
Create detailed reports and presentations about companies that explain business models, strategies, industry scenarios, capital structures, terms, and key risks associated with investments.
Build an insightful view of your company's projected financial performance by building a cash flow model.

Eligibility Criteria and Required Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters with an emphasis in finance, economics, accounting, math, or related quantitative field is preferred
Having a CA, CFA, FRM, or equivalent certification is highly desirable
0-2 years of relevant work experience is required
Competent at financial modeling skills
Excellent at spoken and written communication skills
Ability to effectively tackle tight deadlines
Knowledge of the full range of public data, research, and analytical resources.
Work experience on data platforms such as Bloomberg and Capital IQ is an asset.
Team players must show their willingness to work with cross-divisional teams across multiple time zones.
