The New India Assurance Company Ltd, (NIACL), a leading Public Sector General Insurance Company, invites applications for recruitment of 450 Officers (Generalists & Specialists) in Scale I cadre.

The New India Assurance Co. Ltd., is an Indian public sector general insurance company based in Mumbai. It is the largest nationalized general insurance company in India on the basis of gross premium collection inclusive of foreign operations. It was founded by Sir Dorabji Tata in 1919 and was nationalized in 1973.

NIACL Recruitment 2023: Examination Pattern

The examination pattern of NIACL recruitment 2023 will consist of preliminary and main examinations which will be conducted through online Computer Based Test (CBT). Those candidates who clear the main examination will be called for an interview. Below is the detailed examination pattern to be followed:

For the main exam, both generalist and specialist will have to answer the descriptive test by typing on the computer which will follow immediately after completion of mains MCQs objective test. A candidate shall be required to qualify in the descriptive test, but the marks in the descriptive test will not be counted towards shortlisting for interview or final selection.

Phase- 3: Interview

Candidates who have been shortlisted at the end of Phase-II mains examination will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Company. Interviews will be conducted at select centres. The weightage (ratio) of online Examination and Interview will be 75:25 respectively.

NIACL Recruitment 2023: Final Selection

Final selection would be based on consolidated marks of main examination (objective test) & interview. The final merit list shall be prepared in descending order of the consolidated marks secured by the candidates. Candidates who fall within the number of vacancies in the merit list shall be considered for appointment.
