PGCIL recruitment through GATE 2021: Apply for 40 executive trainee posts

The application process to apply for PGCIL recruitment through GATE 2021 has begun. Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), has invited these applications online, and the last date to apply is 15th April 2021. This recruitment drive will fill up 40 executive trainee posts in the organization - 20 in electrical, 10 in civil, and 10 in electronics.

Eligibility criteria of PGCIL recruitment

The PGCIL recruitment through GATE 2021 has invited candidates based on the following eligibility criteria:

Age limit (as of 31.12.2020)

The upper age limit for general category candidates is 28 years.
A relaxation in the upper age limit is provided to the following based on Government norms:

OBC (NCL) - up to 3 years
SC/ST - up to 5 years
PwD - up to 10 years
J&K Domicile/ Ex-servicemen/ riot victims - as per latest Government notification

Educational qualifications

Full-time B.E/B.tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in electrical/electrical (power)/electrical and electronics/power systems engineering/power engineering with minimum 70% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Valid GATE 2021 score.
SC/ST/PwD should have passing marks in their B.tech/B.E/B.Sc (Engg.) course.

Read the notification given, and click on the link to apply.
