Reckitt, a consumer goods company in the production of health, hygiene, and home products, has promoted Smriti Handa as Global Talent Acquisition Director. For the past two years, she has been associated with the company as the Regional HR Director of South Asia. Her 17 years of experience in leading various HR functions at various organizations helped her achieve this milestone.
Building blocks of Smriti's career
Achieving the position of Director, Smriti Handa's several years of experience in the HR domain can be credited for her new heights. Being a graduate in commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce, she headed towards pursuing PGDBM from Management Development Institute in Marketing and Human Resources.
Before joining Reckitt, she started her career in the world telecom company Airtel for 10 years. After joining the company in 2004 as HR Generalist, Smriti served in multiple roles from Business Analyst, Director HR to Project Manager and HR Business Partner, to become the Head - Talent Acquisition, Employer Brand & Campus Engagement, India Operations in 2011 and served this role for over three years. She was also chosen as one of the LinkedIn Top Voices in HR in 2019.
After working in the health technology company Philips for five years, she joined Reckitt in 2019 as Regional Director and within years of working in this role and vast experience in the human resource domain, she became the best choice for heading the role of Global Talent Acquisition Director of the company.
