Reliance T.U.P 4.0 National Finalist SCMHRD Pune Aditya Nambiar's Story

Reliance T.U.P 4.0 is a megalithic competition organized by one of the largest conglomerates Reliance Industries Limited. Reaching the national finals in its 4th edition was a proud moment for me and my college SCMHRD Pune. The exposure that we got was elephantine. It felt amazing to see your hard work getting recognized on such a substantial platform.

Preparing for the competition was a challenge in itself but once we began, we never looked back. My teammates and I started by looking at the problem from different perspectives. We used to work till 3 AM in the morning at SCMHRD Pune campus just to make sure we did not leave any stone unturned. The most exigent part is always to decide the team name.

Working with a team is no small task but definitely, the most important one. We made sure that everyone in the team was on the same page. When you work with so many perspectives and people, conflicts will happen. But we resolved them by reasoning and picking out the win-win solution.

One thing that all of us had in common was the zeal to give it all which got the best out of us. Our team was nonpareil in terms of coordination, fun, ideas, perspectives, maturity, and contribution level.

There were approximately 22 teams in the grand finale. When we saw other teams presenting their ideas, it broadened our thinking spectrum. The team from IIM Bangalore was our toughest competitor because their idea was wonderful and they presented it really well. We also realized that giving our 100% is the best we can do and it will definitely bear fruits.

The organizers structured the competition brilliantly. They surpassed our expectations by giving us the best experience possible. They motivated everyone and that pushed us to put forth our best. I can undoubtedly say that Reliance T.U.P 4.0 gave us memories that even the passage of time cannot blur.
