Team Put Your hands Together from IIT Madras, first runners up of Inquisitive The Ultimate Business Quiz

IMT Hyderabad, a renowned B-School, had initiated an intellectual activity for undergraduates, graduates and MBA aspirants. Inquisitive - The Ultimate Business Quiz is a competition that offers a platform where the applicants can demonstrate their fortitude and win exciting prizes.

The competition was divided into three rounds. The first round was a Preliminary Round where all teams were supposed to take part in an online quiz with 20 questions.

In the second Preliminary Round, teams were shortlisted from the previous round and were required to take another 20 question quiz. Top ten teams were then selected to fight it out at the Finale held in Hyderabad. The Finale was a live quiz.

The quiz was wonderfully organized and was very engaging. 

Winning is best when shared 

My team consists of me and Pranav. We shared a brilliant chemistry which has helped us consistently. Each of us had our unique capabilities and we understand each other well. This has helped us a lot. We named our team “Put Your Hands Together”. Our team name was a source of confidence for us. Our name in itself commands celebration which meant that winning was the only option. 

There were ten teams with us at the finale of the Inquisitive Business Quiz. Reaching the finale round of the quiz we realized that the quiz was going to be long and difficult. We brainstormed and decided that knowing the right answers wasn't enough. We also had to be resilient and should keep our energy levels high. This meant being careful with our buzzes and not getting carried away. We learned to be patient and careful and to make sure that negatives didn't affect us much.

Our coordination and focus made it possible for us to reach that point. Inquisitive Business Quiz has given us confidence and best of all memories for the rest of our lives.
