The time after high school is a stressful period for all. Fresh out of school, young students seek to embark on a new journey, hoping to get accepted into their dream colleges. However, a teen from Florida, USA, has done something unimaginable!
18-year-old Jonathan Walker- a student of Rutherford Senior High School and now a one-of-a-kind success story, has been accepted into all 27 universities he applied for, including Harvard, MIT, and 3 more Ivy League colleges. And that's not all, he has earned a total of $4 million worth of scholarships to fund his studies!

But what’s his USP? He is a serial inventor and has designed devices to address issues around prescription drugs and an internal combustion engine filter. And that’s not all, Jonathan’s aim is to develop technology that helps disabled people, and he has already designed a device that helps students with visual and hearing impairments.
During an interview with ABC News, he was given the title, ‘A Teen Phenom’ and rightly so!

Apart from MIT and Havard, Jonathan has also been accepted into Stanford, John Hopkins University, Yale University, and the University of Pennsylvania.
When asked if he was confident he’d get into these schools during the applications, he replied, “Being honest, I thought all of them were reached schools..they’re so difficult to get into. If I’d get admission in one of them I would have been super thankful.”

As a child, seeing his enthusiasm for science, his parents bought him a chemistry set, which later fueled his curiosity and passion for engineering. Jonathan is currently working on obtaining a patent for one of his inventions and has won an award for inventing a secure prescription drug management device.
When asked about his drive, he said that he realized that he wanted to help people, and use engineering for the benefit of disadvantaged communities. As for the future, he’s still weighing his options and is interested in engineering as well as entrepreneurship.
“There’s a ton of interesting things about the world, and I just want to explore it all.” He said in an interview with ABC News.
He is reportedly also a member of the football team at Rutherford Senior High School. Way to go Jonathan!
