Accenture B-School Strategy Challenge Season 8: Stages and Timelines
Round 1: Preliminary Quiz
An immersive, analytical and critical thinking quiz. Each question will have a definite answer. Teams will be scored based on the average marks of the team members attempting the quiz round. Please note that it is not mandatory for all the team members to take the quiz.
Round 2: Online Simulation
An interactive online simulation game that will help you play the exciting role of a Chief Operating Officer. Apply all major concepts of management in a decision-making setting to achieve the objectives of the firm. Teams would be making critical decisions ranging from demand forecasting to cost-effective delivery. The top 10 teams from each campus will then move to the next round. Please note that all the values provided in the manual are indicative only. They can be vastly different in the game being played and will be provided during the game.
Industry Masterclass and Storytelling Workshops
Teams shortlisted for Round 3 will be invited to exclusive storytelling workshops, and an industry-wise masterclass to help them enhance their case study.
Round 3: Case Submission and Presentation
Shortlisted 10 teams per campus will have to select a case study from one of the 7 industries such as Banking, Automotive, Retail, Energy, Natural Resources, Life Sciences, and Telecom. They need to work on any single case and submit their analysis and solutions in a presentation format. The presentation should have a maximum of 7 slides including the introduction slide and annexures. The minimum font size should be 12. You can reach out to your placement committees for case study and submission.
Round 4: Mentorship Session
Each team qualified for the grand finale will be allocated a mentor from Accenture to help them prepare for the final round.
Round 5: Grand Finale
The top 8 teams from across campuses will participate in the case study challenge. This is your chance to present your brilliant business idea to the jury—comprising of our key clients and Accenture leaders.

- Both-year students pursuing the flagship full-time, two-year MBA program can apply. (Only students from the Indian School of Business (ISB) are eligible for the full-time 1-year program)
- Late or incorrect submissions will not be considered.
- The organizer has the sole discretion to allow or deny participation.
