2x2 Round 1
Round 1 will commence with A 2X2 cube
3x3 Round 1
Round will commence with A 3X3 cube
4x4 Final
Final Round of 4x4 cube .
SKEWB final
Final Round with SKEWB
3X3 One handed Final
Participants will solve the 3x3 cube in one hand .
3X3 final
Team members will have a final face-off with 3x3 cube
2X2 Final
Final teams will face off with a 2x2 cube .
3X3 TEAM RELAY
Team up with fellow cubers and challenge your coordination and with this event. This event happens in teams of 3, where all 3 people will be solving a 3x3x3 cube one after the other. The timer starts when the first person starts solving and the timer stops when the last person finishes solving. The best teams will get prizes including cash prize, cubes and coupons.

All that you need to know about Cube Open
The team of Shaastra, IIT Madras, brings you a Rubik’s cube competition, Shaastra Cube Open. Get ready to put your muscle memory and spatial thinking skills to the test.
With 5 events - 3x3, 2x2, 4x4, One Handed, Skewb, and a Team Relay event where you get to challenge your coordination and understanding with fellow cubers.
General Instructions:
- The competition will take place on 6th January 2025 , 9.00 a.m. at IIT Madras.
- Register through the link provided in the registration section.
- Join the Whatsapp Group for further updates.
- If you couldn’t register on time, Contact us using the details provided at the end.
- Bring your own cubes for the events you are competing in.
- Normal WCA rules apply for all events.
- Arrive at the venue at least 30 minutes before the start of the first event you are participating in.
